Introduction
Some key objectives that were focused on during this lab were to understand how joins c an be created when you have common fields between tables. Another key aspect of this lab was to focus on different types of queries and how you can generate queries based off of certain attributes that you define. Performing these types of queries is a great way to sort through data to get as specific as you need to get with the data.
Methods
For the purpose of this lab we where provided with the FAA Airmen database. This is an absolutely massive database that provides information on all kinds of certifications of individuals within the FAA across the Unites States. Due to the mere fact that this database provides so much information and is so dense being able to sort through the data by creating queries by attributes become absolutely essential. Using a program such as ARC-GIS Pro makes it possible to perform such task.
Discussion and Deliverables
In figure one we can see all the different counties in terms of residents of those counties having any sort of FAA certification. When examine figure two this is where it becomes very obvious that some sort of query and query statement where use to get the figure looking the way it is. Figure two is really getting into the specifics of weeding how certain types of FAA certification holders and only showing the viewer that information and nothing else. Figure three on the other hand is more of a general map of showing all the different types of FAA certificate holder across the United States .
