Introduction
In this lab we where introduced to satellite imagery platform using the website of ESRI Landsatt. Using this platform I was able to identify how different spectral bands effected the image I was seeing. Furthermore I was able to identify the relationship of different spectral bands to larger concepts such as vegetation growth and plant health. Other key concepts that was introduced was the idea of temporal and spacial imagery which looks at the development of areas over time.
Methods
This lab was conducted using the learning tutorial provided by the software of ESRI and Landsatt. Going through the tutorial I needed to select different spectral bands and understand the relationship of those bands and how it effected the data I was receiving. Furthermore I needed to look at areas such as the Suarez canal using a temporal setting which allowed to see how the canal has expanded and other changes that have occurred to it as time has gone on.
Discussion
Satellite imagery is great at providing spatial resolution as it can be constantly tracking singular points on the ground. However, with that it is not the best at providing temporal resolution which is better suited for UAS. UAS can provide a more accurate and up to date photo compared to satellite and manned imagery, helping to fill the gap between providing both high resolution temporal and high-resolution spatial imagery. Furthermore when thinking about the potential of UAS in regards to it being able to replace the need for satellite imagery I do think that time will come. As technology continues to develop, so will the abilities of UAS. With the technology and development of UAS it is going to be able to have similar if not more advanced image capabilities than satellites hence making making the need to use sataliette imagery obsolete.

Discussion Questions and Answers
Thinking of the temporal resolution here, along with spatial resolution, how might a collection of UAS imagery be used in a similar manner?
When thinking about of the temporal resolution here along with the spatial resolutions one way in which a collection of UAS imagery may be used similarly is to accurately be able to track changes in landscape features and the development of the canal in terms of expansion and being able to identify other changes in the surrounding environment. When implemnting UAS it allows for us to gather more defined temporal resolution.
What kinds of resources would be needed to accomplish this when thinking of digital transformation concepts?
Some resources that would be needed to accomplish this when thinking about digital transformation concepts would be a suitable sensor type for the mission type. Being able to have a suitable sensor for the mission here is key to being able to accurately obtain the necessary data so that image collections are produced with as little displacement as possible allowing for changes of the surveyed area are easily noticeable and identifiable. Another necessary resource for accomplishing this type of mission would be access to the proper type of storage for these image files to allow for proper keeping and being able easily access images of the past landscape and compare it to what it looks like now.
